My future Professional Development and Technology plan would consist of strategies for my teaching style which will support my students in multiple ways for them to grow and express themselves through my class helping them improve their engagement and outcomes.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND TECHNOLOGY PLAN
1. My personal development goals
-Supplying my skills using technology tools helping to increase student learning
-Collaboration among all educators and staff within the school building
-Encouraging the integration for technology, supporting all successful learning for our students
Assessment of Teaching skills
-Given surveys to the teachers and staff, figuring out their current comfortability for the technology
-Figuring out the areas that needs more support and training for teachers to give the students a better learning environment
Training programs for Professional Development (Workshops and Coaching)
-Google Workshop - Teaching collaboration and Managment for teachers
-Teacher Toolkits - Apps like Iready, Coolmath, Kahoot, and Brain PoP
-Digital Safety - Educating our staff on how the students should interact and instruct them on the safety of the internet and responsibly.
-Technology coaching if any staff member needs it
2.My technology goals
-Making sure all technology is used to enhance the curriculum
-Making an introduction for students to digital schooling
-We would use technology supporting different instructional work to introduce the diverse needs within the students
Technology Intergration (Tools, Curriculum)
Tools
-Smartboards could create inactive lessons that could help be more of a dynamic in the classroom
-Make sure students have enough access to the technology, there would be students who learns within a hands-on environment
-Apps that could enhance the students learning and creativity
Curriculum
-Math and Science - Simulation and games that could explain a concept in a fun way
-Reading and Writing -Digital storytelling to foster their communicate and creative skills
-STEM -Integrating coding and the robotics activities that could be helpful for them at a young age
3.My evaluation and feedback mechanism
Teachers:
-Regularly surveys for teachers for any helps or needs
Students:
-Monitoring the engagement and achievements of students when the technology is implemented within the classrooms
-Gather the feedback from our students regularly figuring out how the technology enhanced their learning
The plan:
-Based on the feedback we receive from teachers and students we as staff members of students learning we will go back to the plan and adjust it as throughout the school years until we find a way for the staff and students to be comfortable within the school building with the new generation technology.
